The intermediate steering column - right under the steering wheel -makes a loud poppoing and banging noise when the brakes are applied and when the steering wheel is turned. Very noticeable when turning up a driveway and hittting the driveway bump.

When driving at low speeds and turning, the car makes clunking noises in the front end. Also, the power steering intermediately is lost when first staring the car. Randomly while driving the car will chime and the display will say power steering. I'm afraid i will lose power steering while driving at higher speeds. To correct this, the dealer will be replacing the intermediate steering shaft and the steering module.
