My vehicle is having exact symptoms as other vehicles in the same year range with the exact engine size and power train. I have a 4 - cyl eco tec engine and i have found that gm recalled lots of units for this exact problem yet mine is not in the database. My electroinc steering shuts on and off all winter!

Esc turns off and on by itself while driving. Service power steering light comes on and the wheel is hard to turn i have to kill the car and restart it to get it to start working again. While sitting idle my steering wheel shakes erratically.
